In Southfarthing Confidential, players take on the roles of halfling sheriffs within the Five Farthings one year after the prohibition of pipe-weed. The setting is designed as a “genre mash-up” between a satirical Tolkienesque fantasy and hardboiled detective stories of the 1930s and ‘40s, such as those by Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett, or televised police procedurals like Dragnet or Hill Street Blues.
Dwarf Lode is a game of beards, beer, drunken exploration, ancestral grudges, and engineering disasters.
